Aluminium RIB with 33 knots speed was sold to Dutch operator

Today our Dutch customer Mr de Haas sold his Deep-V aluminium RIB “Dirk I” to her new owner, King’s Euro Pirates, from the island of Vlieland, the Netherlands. The transfer of ownership took place at the office of Notary Public “Notarispraktijk Interwaert” in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, also in the Netherlands.

It was imperative to the new owner that the RIB reached a speed of at least 60 km/hr (± 33 knots). In fact, during trials, this was easily accomplished with the vessel reaching speeds of up to 39 knots.

King's Euro Pirates will use the RIB to sail between the Dutch “Waddeneilanden” to spot seals with tourists.

Her new name will be “Ocean King”.
